SLIT SKIRTS BRING LEGS FOR DAYS

Slit skirts made their debut with Angelina Jolie's infamous black dress and leg shot and have been HOT ever since.  This trend can go from the office to a night on the town or a casual weekend getaway.  Pencil skirts with a slit are great for the office.  Make sure the length of the skirt is longer so that the slit goes to wear the bottom of a mini-skirt or shorts would sit on you.  This is a great spring look for the office that adds some sex appeal without being too overt.  Take off the blazer and silk blouse for a night out.  Add a chiffon top or a silk or beaded top to add some flare.

Celebs have made the thigh high slit famous.  Here's how they are working the trend.

Mini skirts with a slit can add some sizzle to your look.  This skirt works well for the younger ladies or the trendy yet thinner body frame woman.  Length of the skirt is key for your body type.  This slit should be more discrete than on a pencil skirt.

Maxi Skirts and Dresses with a Thigh-High Slit look sexy for a night on the town or can be a fun weekend option depending on the cut or fit.  A fitted skirt and bodice is dressier and shows off your curves.  This looks well on larger or curvier women along with slim frames, while a billowy dress or skirt with a fitted top looks best on athletic frames. Michael Kors, Helmut Lang are just a few designers working this trend.
