WORK THE HIGH-LO TREND AT ANY AGE & SIZE

Wanting to show a little leg and be trendy?  The high-lo trend continues to be hot and fashion-forward in skirts, dresses, and tops.  The rules differ slightly for tops but follow these simple tips to look stylish at any age or body type.  Lengths vary in each style so petite ladies look for petite dresses that have the proportions just right or look at the length variations (a mini-skirt front might be knee length for you but check the length of the  skirt).

This trend, originating in Spring 2011, is still hot with new ways to wear it at any age or body type.  For younger ladies, the flirty mini-skirt meets the longer maxi is a sexy style for brunch or nights on the town.  Sheer chiffon high-lo hemlines add a sexy feel to your look.  For women in their 30's and 40's go for a knee length front and longer back.  A flowy maxi skirt is more casual versus a fitted skirt that is more formal and can be sexier.  For ladies 50 and beyond, this trend works for you.  A knee length style with a slightly longer hemline to about your calves is a great dressier version.  Perfect for the office or an evening affair.  For a more casual look the front hemline starting at your shins and the back hemline at your ankles is a sexy look without being too revealing.

The best rule of wearing this style is 'know your body and show what you are comfortable with'.
