WRAP IT UP IN STYLE WITH FUR VESTS

As the temperatures are dropping at night, finish off your look with a fabulous fur vest (real or faux).  This look can transform your work look, to casual night/day out, to a dressier evening on the town.  Mix unexpected prints and colors with the vest to give it flair!

Style It Up:
-Belt it around your high waist to cinch you in and add drama.  Bejeweled belts work great.
-Work the cropped vests with longer sweaters and tops.
-Pair tweed short shorts with tights and a fur vest with shoe booties.
-Metallic dresses, sequin skirts or shorts, and metallic skirts look stylish with a fur vest in a monotone color.

Here is a model I styled for the Divine Style DC fall fashion show.  She is wearing caramel skinny leatherette's jeans by Citizens of Humanity paired with an Amanda Uprichard purple silk blouse and a Free People Faux Fur Vest, all from Luna Boutique Bethesda.  The contrasting colors of the blouse and pants make the outfit pop, paired with a vest in the same color family...though not "matching".

This BCBG Ombre fur vest is working another hot trend..."OMBRE".  Very chic and looks great styled for a night on the town, or more causal with jeans, boots, and leggings.  Ombre is the fading from dark to light which is also slimming.

A cropped fur vest gives a playful feel to your look.  Pair with a longer top or over a sweater dress.
